Harmonic Farewell was created during a time when our founder found themselves attending several funerals, some expected and others not.

With each service came familiar moments — photographs that captured memories, words spoken with care, and booklets that marked a life lived. These details were thoughtful and personal. Yet one part of the ceremony often felt different. The music, while respectful, did not always reflect the person being remembered.

Music has a way of reaching people when words feel heavy. It can hold emotion, personality, and memory in a way few other things can. It became clear that this part of the service was missing an opportunity to truly reflect the individual — their story, their character, their quirks, their joys, and the people they loved.

Harmonic Farewell was created to offer families something more personal at a time when it matters most. Each song is written using the memories families choose to share, shaped into a style of music that feels true to the person being remembered. It is intended to sit quietly within the ceremony, telling a story through music when words may be difficult to find.

The care does not end when the ceremony does.

Grief often continues long after the day itself, and everyone experiences it differently. Being able to return to a piece of music that tells the story of a loved one can offer comfort in the weeks, months, and years that follow. For this reason, families and friends are given the option to keep the song privately, allowing them to listen again in their own time, whenever they need to.
